Worauf stützt sich Ihre GPP-Diagnose?
GPP-Symptome
Bei GPP treten Schübe plötzlich in Form von schmerzhaften Pusteln auf großen geröteten und entzündeten Hautflächen auf.7 Pusteln sind entzündete, mit Eiter gefüllte Bläschen (Läsionen) auf der Hautoberfläche, die zu schuppiger und brüchiger Haut, Juckreiz und Schmerzen führen können.10,11 Sie können auch (systemische) Symptome wie Fieber, Gelenkschmerzen und Muskelschwäche haben.2
Sie können auch folgende Symptome haben: 3,8,16
Starke Hautschmerzen
Ein brennendes Gefühl auf der Haut
Schweren Juckreiz
Rötung
Trockene, brüchige oder schuppige Haut
Oder systemische Symptome:
Kopfschmerzen
Müdigkeit
Fieber

Unterschied zwischen GPP
und anderen Formen von Psoriasis
GPP kann mit Plaque-Psoriasis verwechselt werden, aber sie sind zwei grundlegend verschiedene Krankheiten mit unterschiedlichen Symptomen.4 GPP ist eine autoinflammatorische Krankheit, Plaque-Psoriasis eine Autoimmunerkrankung.12 Sie werden von verschiedenen Prozessen im Körper verursacht und daher unterschiedlich behandelt.12,17
Einige Personen mit GPP haben jedoch auch eine bestehende/eine Krankengeschichte von Plaque-Psoriasis (die häufigste Art von Psoriasis).12
Da GPP so selten ist, ist sie nicht leicht zu erkennen – auch für Ärzte. Daher kann es eine Weile dauern, zu Ihrer Diagnose zu gelangen.12

Unterstützung Ihrer GPP-Diagnose
Da es sich um eine seltene Krankheit handelt, kann eine GPP-Diagnose einige Zeit dauern und erfolgt normalerweise durch einen Dermatologen.5,15 Für eine korrekte Diagnose führt Ihr Dermatologe möglicherweise einen Bluttest oder eine Biopsie durch (Untersuchung eines kleinen Hautstücks unter dem Mikroskop).18
Es ist auch wichtig, anzumerken, dass GPP-Behandlungsmöglichkeiten beim Umgang mit Ihrer Krankheit helfen können und Ihr Arzt Unterstützung und Beratung bieten kann.19
Wenn Sie starke Hautschmerzen und Pusteln auf großen Hautflächen haben, unter Fieber, Müdigkeit, Übelkeit oder starken Schmerzen leiden, sollten Sie so bald wie möglich mit Ihrem Arzt sprechen.20 GPP kann auch ohne systemische Symptome auftreten, wenn Sie einen Schub haben, sollten Sie auch ohne systemische Symptome Ihren Arzt konsultieren.21
